Hello girlies,
How is your weekend coming along? I saw Exodus Gods and Kings. As I have already watched the Ten commandments movie, I did not find this to be pretty great apart from having Christian Bale in it.
Anyway, coming to the post, you all know how I love chemical-free and preservative free products. When I got the chance to try the newly launched Plum Angel Eyes Kohl Kajal, I was very happy. I am using this Kohl for the past one week and I am going to share my experience in this post.
For those who don’t know, plum is a new brand which specializes in organic products free of Parabens, Phthalates, Propylene Glycol, SLS, DEA & PABA. You can read more about the brand here.

Review:
The kohl comes in a white pencil form with purple lettering. The pencil feels heavy and sturdy in my hands. It gives me a feeling that my money has been well spent.
It does not come with any carton box or anything. Just a plastic wrap sealed pencil.
The texture of the kohl is smooth and creamy. I would not call the pigmentation to be superb but it is extremely natural looking and decent. I need two to three swipes to get a true black color.
Despite its creamy texture, the point does not get blunt easily.
It imparts a mild cooling sensation once applied. It never irritated my eyes or made them water. The kohl feels very light on my eyes.
It stays for about 3-4 hours on my eyes and beyond that, it slowly starts settling in my lower lashline. It does not create panda eyes. But if you rub it, it tends to smudge mildly as it is not smudge-proof and vanishes into nothing. It is not water-proof.
Though it comes in a wooden pencil form, I did not notice any extraordinary product wastage. The sharpener is very handy and comes with a cute lid.
Removal is very easy. It comes off in just two swipes with cotton dipped on oil.
This kohl may not fare well as an eyeliner for oily lids. If you wish to use it as an eyeliner, you need to set it with an eyeshadow.
In my eotd, i have used only this kohl to show the true intensity.

On my eyes:
These days I am reading so much about the bad effect of using chemical laden pencils in the waterline.
With this kohl, I can line my waterline without having to fear about the ingredients list. I love this kohl and will definitely repurchase.
